FilePenguin
For digital bundle creators

You promised lifetime updates. We deliver them.

One permanent, branded link for your bundle: brushes, templates, printables, anything you sell. Add a new version and every past buyer gets it automatically.

Works alongside Etsy, Gumroad, Shopify or your own site · No buyer login · Big files welcome · Secure EU hosting

An example buyer page. Your shop, your colour, your copy.

You sell across stores. None of them tell your past buyers.

Every time you add files to the bundle, your past buyers are stuck on the version they downloaded. Etsy can’t email them, Gumroad only knows the buyers from Gumroad, a Dropbox folder has no way to notify anyone, and building your own app is months of work.

FilePenguin gives every product one permanent, branded link that works wherever you sell. Add to the pack and one click sends the new version, and a branded email, to every past buyer.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself.

  1. 1

Upload a file or paste a template link

Upload a ZIP, PDF, image, or document up to 250 MB, or paste a Notion / Canva / Google Drive URL. Set the product name and your branding once.

  2. 2

Share one link wherever you sell

Paste the same link into your Etsy delivery PDF, your Gumroad receipt, your own site’s thank-you page, or anywhere else. Every buyer lands on the same branded page.

  3. 3

Add to the pack. We notify every buyer.

Publish a new version and opted-in buyers get a branded email with the new download. Anyone else sees the latest version the next time they open the link.

FAQ

Common questions.

How is this different from Etsy delivery, Gumroad’s library, or a Dropbox folder?
Each of those covers part of the job and breaks down somewhere. Etsy: re-upload the file and nobody’s told. Gumroad’s library: only notifies buyers who bought on Gumroad. A Dropbox folder: works for buyers but has no branding and no update email. A custom app: months of work.

FilePenguin gives every product one permanent, branded link you share wherever you sell, and one click pushes a new version to every past buyer with a branded email. Keep your existing delivery in place; FilePenguin sits on top of it.
Do my buyers need an account?
No. Buyers just open the link from your delivery PDF or message. No sign-up, no password. They can optionally tick a single consent box to receive update emails for that product, separate from any account.
What file types and links work?
Files: PDF, ZIP, common image formats, EPUB, and Office / iWork documents up to 250 MB. Links: any HTTPS URL for templates on Notion, Canva, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Airtable, and similar. Short-link redirectors aren’t allowed because buyers should always see where the link goes.
Is it free?
Yes, while in early access. If we introduce paid plans later we’ll tell you well before they apply to you. We’d rather you trust the product than spring a bill on you.
Is my buyers’ data safe?
Buyer emails are only collected when the buyer explicitly opts in, are stored in the EU, and have a one-click unsubscribe in every email. We never sell data and we don’t use it for advertising. Full detail lives on the privacy page.
Can buyers always get the latest version?
Yes. That’s the point. The link is permanent and always points to the current published version. Opted-in buyers get an update email when you publish a new one; everyone else sees the new version next time they open the link.

Sell the bundle once. Send every update forever.

Set up takes under five minutes. One link to share wherever you sell, and every update lands in every past buyer’s inbox automatically.
